Mother nature has given us all to live a meaningful life. Now its our turn to thank her. Come, lets put our foot forward and join hands with Nisarg Swasthya Sansthan to save the Powai lake and to live a life close to mother Nature- Nisarg.
Daily Curriculum of Nisarg Swasthya Sansthan
Place– Nisarg Udhyaan- Powai Lake, Opposite Rambaug Flyover, Adi Sankracharya Marg, Powai, Mumbai- 400076
Monday– Dedicated to intense and exhaustive physical exercises
6.30 am to 7.00 am. Light exercises for the elderly members.
7.00 am to 7.30 am. Hasya yoga and balancing activities
7.30 am to 7.40 am. Knowledge about health and our activities.
7.40 am to 8.30 am. Yoga, panayam, dhyaan and vigorous exercises for youth.
Tuesday– dedicated to silence (Maun), the strength within . To feel the world within, all the activities are done in complete silence with emphasis on meditation.
6.30 am to 7.00 am. Light exercises for the elderly members.
7.00 am to 7.30 am. Hasya yoga and balancing activities
7.30 am to 7.40 am. Knowledge about health and our activities.
7.40 am to 8.30 am. Yoga, panayam, dhyaan and vigorous exercises for youth.
Wednesday- dedicated to Kriyas of Suryanamaskar, the fire within.
6.30 am to 7.00 am. Light exercises for the elderly members.
7.00 am to 7.30 am. Hasya yoga and balancing activities
7.30 am to 7.40 am. Knowledge about health and our activities.
7.40 am to 8.30 am. Surya Namaskar.
Thursday- dedicated to dance– exercises with dance and masti.
6.30 am to 7.00 am. Light exercises for the elderly members.
7.00 am to 7.30 am. Hasya yoga and balancing activities
7.30 am to 7.40 am. Knowledge about health and our activities.
7.40 am to 8.30 am. Exercises with dance.
Friday– dedicated to NISARG Seva – a cleanliness drive of the Powai Lake and its surroundings.
6.30 am to 7.00 am. Light exercises for the elderly members.
7.00 am to 7.30 am. Hasya yoga and balancing activities
7.30 am to 8.30 am. Nisarg Seva- Cleanling of Powai lake and its surrounding.
Saturday– dedicated to Aasans, Mudras and Dhyaan
6.30 am to 7.00 am. Light exercises for the elderly members.
7.00 am to 7.30 am. Hasya yoga and balancing activities
7.30 am to 7.40 am. Knowledge about health and our activities.
7.40 am to 8.30 am. Aasans, Mudras and dhyaan.
Sunday- dedicated to SuryaNamaskar
6.30 am to 7.00 am. Light exercises for the elderly members.
7.00 am to 7.30 am. Hasya yoga and balancing activities
7.30 am to 7.40 am. Knowledge about health and our activities.
7.40 am to 8.30 am. Surya Namaskar and Yog Nidra Session.
- Every Second Saturday of the month, we have a Nisarg Run of 4 Kms, wherein all members take part and assess their stamina.
- Every Third Sunday of every month is for medical examination and to analyze the health of all the members on the parameters of weight, blood pressure & heart rate. Health records of the members is maintained and analyzed on regular basis.
